I must say a great big thank-you to Swervedriver, Adam
Franklin, and
This collection was created without the assistance or
permission of any of the original musicians. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of
these musical adaptations. They were created by listening and watching the
artists live, on several occasions, and were greatly assisted by some video
bootlegs (thank-you to all videographers that like to film the fret board!).
Most of the songs are adaptations of two concert bootlegs
made in 2000 and 2001, of Adam Franklin playing acoustic guitar solo. However,
there are a couple of songs that are from Adam playing electric guitar solo,
and at least one adaptation of an album version of a song. The solo versions
often vary greatly from the band version, so beware.

This is a summary of some of the most common chords used in
the songs within this document. The fingering given is the common variety, but
you sometimes may want to use alternate fingering to make certain chord changes
easier.

In this section I describe the nomenclature I will be using
to tab sections of the songs within. Most of what I am using is fairly standard
I believe, but just to be sure, here goes:
The 6 strings of the guitar are indicated with lines as
below, with the topmost line corresponding to the smallest (highest pitch)
string.
1)
The tuning of each string is indicated
at the far left of each line.
2)
Vertical lines indicate bars, although
I often do not show every bar.
3)
The beat is indicated underneath the
tab. I tried to accurately show rhythm wherever possible.
4)
I will often mark the underlying chord
above the tab.
5)
A double line and colon marks a
repeated section, colon to the right of the double lines marks the start, colon
to the left of the double lines marks the end.
6)
Lyrics are written underneath the tab.
7)
A number on a string indicates which
fret you should be holding down for that string.
8)
Hammer down is indicated by an “h”, for
example 0h2 means that you pick the indicated string in the open position, and
then hammer your finger onto the second fret. The opposite, a pull off, is
indicated with a “p”.
9)
Capo. Adam uses a Capo frequently.
Whenever this is the case, I indicate in the notes. However, I use the standard
chord names and tab fingering relative to the Capo. (So Capo on 2nd
Fret, A chord, is actually a B chord)

I’m not the only
one…
This is probably one of the hardest songs to play, and I do
not have the picked parts quite right, but it sounds ok, and is really fun to
play.
