Black Francis - Threshold Apprehension

Holy flurking schnit! Not only is Frank playing rock music again, but this is one of the best tracks I think I've heard outta him in ten years. Wow, this absolutely kills. Think 93 solo Frank.

Interloper, COOL!!! The only fast song they have is on the Silver ep, but it's still good nonetheless... I recorded 2 of their shows loper, I'll be uploading them soon!!! My buddies have already commented saying that they came out great!!! I'll let you know in the nifty thread, so watch out!!!

Jeronimo, do you have the 1st unreleased deadsy album? If you need it bro, I can upload it. It has a guest appearance by Jonathan Davis (*cringe*).

Yeah Darshun, it's a cool record. It's just fruitier than anything I've ever heard Broderick do, so I don't think I was ready for it. Broderick just doesn't get enough credit. I mean, wasn't he an original Napalm Death member? The guy just keeps on going and going and always comes out with something fresh everytime...

Jer, not really a Deadsyhead, seen them a couple of times live, just not that great live. I only have the unreleased album and the 1st release. Ohyeah, I did d/l their album phantasmagore, but that didn't do much for me. Oh well.

Rocket, go on youtube and look up Riddle of Steel. There's a show up from September with a bunch of new songs from a show in MI. Tell you the truth, the live versions of the new songs aren't doing it for me, kind of losing their spark in my opinion. Email me if you want some new riddle tracks. A buddy of mine is getting the CD on the 6th. I'll let you know if I have it and upload it.

Hey Darshun - I'm game for both things you've recently mentioned!

Today...
Riddle of Steel - "The Lovers of Nothing"
off - Got This Feelin'

I must say darshun - I watched like 2 of those riddle tracks that you mentioned from youtube and got the same impression you did... not too impressed. But, I'm still stoked ot hear them on the disk - maybe it was just the night...

rocket- Go to http://asceticrecords.com to buy "1985"

A couple of buddies missed out on tonight's show cos of the snow in Kansas City, MO. Could've gotten mp3s of the album already, but mother nature said, "not tonight!" Open Hand also played tonight as well and I'm dying to find out who's in the line up.

Yep, Jaymo, Levon is still around. It might interest you what he is doing now. He lives somewhere in upstate NY or Vermont, and has gigs...at his house! Not kidding. He posts when he will do this on his site, and all interested pay before hand. He has a kind of informal jam/gig in his living room with various musicians, and people mingle, listen, have a snack or sip a cold one. I've been meaning to go to one of those, since I can drive there in about 6 hours, and it would be a real thrill to see him, especially in that setting. It's too bad you don't live closer, we could make a weekend of it, if your wife would allow ya to spring free!
