Swervies ride again... this is the most welcome of news! I don't care if I have to fly to Rio for this one, but yeah, you gotta come to Aussie of course. I heard Mark Gardener may be headed back this way with a band in tow too so how about a double billing? You've been away for so long... |

Thanks for that. Its good advice. I m not going to stare. Last week I saw Ash play and followed that up with Carter USM the next night. Carter was a reunion 10 year one off thing and a full Brixton Academy went mad for them. If swervedriver get that sort of response, which they should than it will be awesome. |

| Hey B-Rad is there anyway you can start a mailing list we can sign up for so we can be emailed these tour dates the moment they are announced? Just to let you guys know I'm working on a new Adam and the Bolts of Melody multi camera video. I'm the new owner of a shipping store though so it's taking me a lot longer than usual to find the time to get it done. |

Awesome News!
I saw Swervedriver in 1993 (I think it was '93) at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It was just an amazing, amazing show. So pysched for their 2008 tour...wow...15 years ago...seems like only yesterday.
Hoping they book a gig or two in Jersey... Asbury Lanes or The Saint would be nice. I'm sure they'll do at least one NYC gig.
Can't wait for the dates and locations to be announced.
Rock on,
-Joe

| Haha! Man I am like really hurting to find out tour info. I really just need to know when its likely that the lads will be hitting the east coast for dates. The wife is talkin' about vacations etc. and I'm trying to make sure we save 5-6 days of leave from work to catch as many shows as possible. |

Same here... I guess a spring tour is looking a little unlikely given that no venues that we know of are booked. My g/f has agreed to come to the first night of the tour, wherever that is. I'm hoping Amsterdam/LA/Australia... but I suspect more like London or Oxford...

hey dudes just chatted to adam tonight at his solo gig. sounds like its all up in the air still. I get the impression that a "world tour" might not cover as much of the planet as we hope. just have to keep our fingers crossed that the planets all line up at the right time. if adam's solo gig was anything to go by it should be a ripper though. |

| Thanks for the heads up stef! The wife is dying to go somewhere tropical and she'd rather do it prior to hurricane season of course. I'm just reluctant to schedule anything until I know... and its probably going to get me in "trouble" haha. |

my fear is that with no current label support the swervies might not have all the needed resources to tour as extensively as desired. maybe some new financial backers / guardian angels will appear? |

| No worries dunkel, this is the nicest forum on the internet. The only confirmed dates we have so far are Los Angeles, 2 in New york, and one rumored in Toronto. I'm sure the second that Brad gets any additional dates from the guys we'll get an update. |

Totally stoked to see Los Swervies again after all these years!! Going to stop at the Fillmore box office Sunday to buy my ticket -- avoiding the RapeMaster fee that would increase cost by over 33%.
Tempted to travel from SF bay area to LA for the Saturday show. Anybody here have hints/advice/opinions about the "Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theatre" in Hollywood, where they are slated to play on May 31?

Okay, so when I look at the Coachella Line-Up poster it says that Swervedriver is on there. When I look at the line-up in the line-up link on the website they are not yet listed under any dates. There seems to be no info of this on the Swervedriver or Toshack sites. So I gotta know what's up. Are Swervies playing Coachella? Cos it would go from being brilliant to absolutely out of this fucking world!
Someone help ease my spirit.

I see them listed on the Coachella site for Sunday. If they had managed to get Swervedriver, the Verve and Prince to play the same night, I might have considered going for the sheer madness of it. Although Spiritualized and SWD the same night should be pretty cool. |

Roarvis you're a fantastic individual, thanks for the update. Swervies, Spiritualized and Verve in one festival. For me that is magic man; sheer, brilliant magic. Not to mention Prince, although I'm not a huge fan of the songs themselves, is an incredible performer that I will love to finally see. And there's a bunch of great DJs and other up and coming bands so it should be a blast. Anyone else from here going?
Cheers,

If anyone is interested, I have a few extra tickets available for Sunday at Coachella for $100 each (my cost.) That might help those of you who don't want to buy tickets for all three days since the single day tickets sold out.
email me: k?f?e?b?e?r?l at v!e!r!i!z!o!n dot n!e!t
Remove the !s and ?s and replace the 'at' and 'dot' first of course.

Anyone know when/ where they will play in the UK, particularly London?
I'll even start believing in God if they play and I can get a ticket. I haven't seen them since about 95/96 (??) in Newcastle, Australia.
Laze it up

Greetings!! Not long to go now!! Weeeeee! If anyone is about we're playing Camden Barfly in London with Longwave on Saturday May 10th if you'd like a sneek preview. Jez should be about too. Theres been a few changes in the Terra camp. I'm the only origional one left now (sniff) but the new guys have pulled it together great. The rest got hacked off with the constant battle that is trying to make any money out of the music industry. Apparently something like 65% of 12 - 16 year olds now think that music is free I read recently?!?! Jesus wept. Anyway. 'Mon the Driver!! |

Hey Ian...see you in Carrboro (prolly) and DC definitely. Have to hoist a pint for old times' sake! I'd bring other accoutrements as well, for post gig inhalation, but I'm paranoid about the highway Nazis around these parts. Sorry to hear the rest of the lads had packed it in, it was great meeting them.
