According to Tym Guitars Facebook page, a Deep Wound download will be available on 01/12/2013 and a video will also be going online. They didn't specify where these would be available though.

Here is some news for some of us, I was on twitter and someone posted a set list from the Australian tour. Very pleased to see 3 NEW songs plus the deep wound song. So with that said, I think that new album is going to be a reality :)

Husk and Buzz. Deep Wound. Can't see the third one Mpav? Husk and Buzz aren't covers we don't know about are they?

Interlude is another new song.

I doubt that these songs are covers since that tour was promoted as raise plus new and old highlights. Those new songs must be the new highlights.

Think Interlude might be the extended intro from single version of Sandblasted (but wasn't there so could be wrong). Just read that Deep Wound digital release due 9 Dec (in answer to question on Facebook page). I have the vinyl but could only play it once so looking forward to this! Bandcamp could be the place...

Interlude is not a new song. That's the intro to sandblasted. They used to play it live back in the day. I also know because they played raise in order, so it's not new.

They did an interview with Jez about a week beforehand. It was mostly about food as I believe Jez is currently writing a cookbook. I'm not sure if its still online but here's what you are looking for:

Me too. That surprised me, as I initially thought the track might be a bit of a throwaway b-side, but it's really excellent.

I love the song. I was actually at the Jimmy Fallon show when they played it for the first time live. But I'm so used to the live versions on Fallon and KEXP, that I almost prefer those now. Can't wait for the full album though!

It sure would be great if SWD recorded more tracks than they need for the LP and release at least one 12" with two or three non-LP tracks, like in the old days.

I was just having fun with song/lyric titles in my last post. Very excited about new album. And Id like to post here that it was 20 years ago today that I saw SWD for the first time. It was a snowy Friday night in Providence R.I, ALMOST didnt go. Glad I did, best show ever. Never been the same again, as they say. :-)

For those of you listening to Black Horses, I didn't know, but just found out that goodnight records web site has all the lyrics to each song. For those who bought the CD, already know there were no lyrics included.

Enjoy, just click the black horses albumn & goto each song and scroll down.

If I tap the screen where the album cover displays whilst the track is playing the lyrics appear (this doesn't work when its locked by the way).

I'm heading down for this. I'm facing 10 hours on a Megabus to get there - I must be out of my mind. Still, both sides of Raise - can't be missing that!
