Here's a new one:
"Incredible Duel" Swervedriver, "Duel" Slim Thug, "Incredible Feeling" http://noddables.cannedoxygen.com/incredible_duel.mp3
I like Southern hip hop (like Slim Thug, I'm from Texas), but I realize it's a stretch, even for a lot of hip hop fans. In any case, give this a chance and let me know what you think.
(For my next one, I'm switching gears and using a vocalist instead of a rapper, so stay tuned.) |

| Not bad! The vocals clash a little with the commanding guitar, but so`s the nature of this riff. Stay clear of to many lines of lyrics with a guitar in that frequency range. The overall flow`s allright, but the arrangement could develop a bit over the time. Just my two cents, don`t take it too serious. |

| thanks for the comment, frans. yeah, that's what i find challenging about working with swervedriver -- the best guitar parts for vocals already have vocals over them. they're so selfish. : ) anyway, that limits the number of instrumental stretches and (for the likes of me, at least) the dynamics of the arrangement. but that's what makes it fun, too. |
