I downloaded a bootleg off of dimeadozen a long while ago.
it included alternate versions of “These Times” and “In My Time” that are a fair bit different than the tracks off of 99th Dream. Both are much shorter than the released versions.
“These Times” in particular is stunning. way more energetic than the album version.
“In My Time” is a strange stripped down version, with harmonica and no drums. time is kept by the loopy shaker-like loop that opens the original.
Does anybody know the details of these tracks? were they alternate versions considered for inclusion on the album? the quailty of the tracks is pristine.
