Well – all of the DVD’s were despatched last week and I’m hearing happy rumblings from all over the world as they start to arrive.
Once again, thank you so much for making this film happen. When I posted this project on indiegogo, it was a stalled rough cut with no future – it was entirely down to your generosity that the film got finished and consequently released. It’s been a mad couple of months, with our premiere at the BFI (footage from that below), great coverage from The Times, The Independent and BBC Radio, the UK cinema tour with Mark Gardener and, finally, the DVD actually coming out.
I’m very sorry for the delays in getting it to you, any of you with any experience of doing anything independently will know how that goes but I rather like that you’ll all have it in time for xmas, which is definitely the best time of the year to watch sad films.
Those of you who are owed signed posters will receive them just after xmas, maybe before, I’m working on it!
Thank you all so much for supporting this project, I really really hope you enjoy the film.
