Classic Lyric Mix-ups

We all do it! Hear a lyric out of a swervie song (or any song for that matter) and totally balls it up. Hell, I hear Adam playing around/improvising with the Deep Seat “You dadeda what I’m feeling” lines at the odd live show.

Now I like the intentional ones, IE Aussie band Spiderbait made a song called “Alex the Seal” based on the new wave classic “Our Lips Are Sealed” diddy, but the unintentional or totally misinterpreted ones are way better.

Here’s one I choose to keep on being wrong:
Song: Blowin’ Cool
Right: “Pay phone calling”
My bad: “Avon calling”[]
