I forgot to mention that I saw Bad Brains play at a little shit hole bar called (appropriately) “the Outhouse” in Lawrence Kansas back in 89. They were incredible.

sweet posters! Unfortunately, I was out of town on the opportunity I could have seen Swervedriver blow (smash) the Pumpkins off the stage… too bad for me!

Yes, that was “Sacred Love”. I was never sure if that jail story was true or just folklore? Now I don’t remember if I just heard that from a friend or actually read it somewhere at the time? It’s actually tough for me to pic a favorite from that CD – it’s all so Bad!

Jeronibro. Just got done listening to the Goonie Mix #2. I LOVED it! I don’t know what you are talking about with all of your crazy “lack luster” comments? You have added several jems by some of my old favorites (and new favs) plus a handfull of things I have never heard. What a kick ass version of “Dig it Up”! I saw those guys live once and they put on a hell of a show. Have I ever mentioned that I have seen Killing Joke, Fugazi, Meat Puppets, and Echo too? The Screaming Blue Messiahs opened up for Echo and the Bunnymen – talk about a night to remember! One of my buddies from highschool toured playing rythm guitar for the Meat Puppets and also played with the Feelies. lucky bastard! I can get more specfic on the CD review if you are interested…
I do have 1 ? = It appears that either “Small Town Bike” or “Jets to Brazil” didn’t make it on the final cut. I don’t know either band – so, I need to know which one I’m hearing. All I know is that I dig the track between Runner and Sugar…

Hola amigos y amiga! I am back. Flew back into K.C. from Akumal last night. I haven’t worn pants or even shoes in 11 days… sitting in front of my computer right now kind of sucks! I can get some stories out later… right now I am going to take a quick look around the forum to see what has been going down. I will say that every day I was able to enjoy my olive soup (martini) – among many other refreshing beverages and fresh fish that we caught. My family had a great time and my boy had a complete blast. Plus, Montezuma never leashed his anger upon us!
It was awsome to get home and find a Jeronipackage waiting for me to have something new to listen to at work.
