Cheers folks! It was a great weekend. Especially with Jez driving all that way. That bloke never ceases to amaze me. Please spread the word so we might do it again. Join the facebook page and become fully fledged Hogletts!

Feel free to take/extract anything you want from this. sorry about all our nonsense all through it. I don’t have the raw files anymore Im afraid but some of the Swervie footage might come in handy. There’s a fair amount of Duress live from the show in Carboro a few years back as well as Swervedriver doing a cover of Grange Hill Theme tune – a popular School based series from the UK. hope all is well.

Finally I’ve completed the last thing on my Bucket list – to record a Hog based EP, almost entirely live, with a member of Swervedriver, mainly drunk. It was the best time of my life and you can download for free or even better donate kindly so we can go back again. We are a not for profit organization and any donations go back into recording. Should there be an excess in funds we will spend in on getting more drunk and that can only be a good thing. Enjoy!

Cheers guys!! It took frickin ages and nearly killed me. All done with pretty average mics straight into a 002 with no desk using our 200ft hallway at our practice room to get natural reverb. My computer appears to have taken on the reactions of a ZX spectrum in the process too. There are some recording pics at..

    if yer interested.

Loving the motel beds stuff too. Magic!

Fellow swervie Casey Virocks Porcupine project’s sounding great too…

Eeup! Yeh. the gig was awesome!! I havent seen King Tuts jumping like that for years. Adam used my Jag for the last few songs by accident too which was great. Iain the guitar tech passed him the wrong guitar. :-)
Made me realise how old Im getting though when for the next few days my knees where knackered from jumping about so much.
Thanks for all your comments on Terra too. We’re playing Classig Grand in Glasgow in October. the dates are on my space.

Yeh folks. Try and get there early to see us opening. We’re the first band on and want to make the last show of the tour something extra special for everyone.
The whole thing has been amazing by the way. James G it was great to see you again last night. Great to meet you too Brad. Hope you both had a great time.
We’ve got a few my space blogs up if anyone wants to check them out.

Thanks guys! thats some great stuff to follow up on. I’ll get to it proper style this week.
Brad – if you could do that your a star. I’ll send you on a bit of a blub about the band etc and if you could forward it on I’ll be forever in your debt.
Boomer – looking forward to seeing you again. We havent practiced Great decline but I’ll speak to the guys tonight. Its been a while though and half of us have never played it before. ha ha
Snail and Croz – I’d love to come to Oz. There was talk of a release for the album there but Im not sure if anything will come of it. I think it might be worth firing some tracks over to JJJ from what you said though so I’ll give it a bash.
Jez left for the US today!! Cant believe its actualy happening. He was saying they’ve rehearsed 30 or so songs so expect a wide span of albums and B sides in their set. Including Deap Seat!! I’ve seen them twice and they never played that/
We’ve got 5 or 6 people coming to the New York show from Scotland too. Should be a great night!
