Why do you think Lexus was using the Black Keys for a while?
There’s always one auto exec who is constantly asking what the music is in the background when they are visiting their creative agencies.

Hey Snail, I didn’t realise you are a Newie chap. Yes I’ll be there, might swing past the old family home in Adamstown on the way into the city but yes definitely up for a catch up at the show.

How about 1st support Sounds Like Sunsets, main support Firekites with the Swervies playing two sets – IWBTLY in full followed by an hour of the rest and best.

    We can dream.

btw tickets for Newcastle and Sydney secured.

I know a lot of Swervies are also Tumbleweed fans (and a few of the guys from the Weed are huge Swervies).
Sad news, Jay Curley, Tumbleweed’s bass player, passed away suddenly on Monday.
    RIP Jay.

36 is the atomic number of krypton, so why not The elements of Krypton?

How about Zilm? It is the most number of runs one can hit of a non-penalised over in cricket.
This feat is commonly known in Australian circles as a “Zilm” or “Zilm36”. It is a rare occurrence in the sport, even by the seemingly worst of bowlers.

I was at the front row so was reasonably sure this happened but if anyone can verify this ‘sighting’ I’ll be relieved it wasn’t just me being tricked by the fluid hands working those frets.

Another thing that stands out were the contagious smiles on stage.

No Snail, you definitely saw correct, it was when Adam was playing the Tym’s black JM.

Can you believe someone on FB complained about them “not looking like they were enjoying themselves” at the Brisbane show – some people will never be pleased.
Sydney was amazing, as I said to my mate who was there with me, I’d go to watch Swervedriver play anywhere but last night’s Sydney show was up there with them in their prime.

Never seen that Jazzmaster before, maple neck.

At first I thought it may have been this Jazz/Tele from Tyms guitars.

    http://tymguitars.com.au/blogs/blog/8458533-jazzmaster-tele-deluxe

Mike it is and it isn’t.
The guitars used by the guys were supplied by Tim (Tym’s Guitars) but Tim has modified them since that article. According to their facebook page, the pickups and internals of the jazzy mentioned in the blog have been transferred into another body/neck combination and Jimmy used this guitar for a few songs instead of his usual les paul.
The black body and maple neck combination has been fitted with jazzmaster pickups and electronics with a tort guard and Adam used that for a few songs instead of his sunburst JM.
