Oops, meant “A Soundworld of Rain”
Oops, meant “A Soundworld of Rain”
Got my copy direct from a Toshack concert in Hamilton in ’05, with Sianspheric opening for Adam and the boys. Think it was only available this way and by internet, and it was a limited offer. Too bad if it can’t be shared, as there’s some great (demo) tracks in the rough there. The Canvey Island Punk version is particularly sweet, I prefer it to the polished version on the “Soundwork of Rain” album.

Careful, I try not to blast any SWD tunes in my car unless I’m on a safe country road somewhere that isn’t normally monitored by radar.
And it doesn’t seem right not to create & share an mp3 for Mustang Ford…

I’ve created an mp3 from the performance – quality is the best I can manage:

You’re not being punked Brad, the Swervies are really in the online edition of Russian Rolling Stone. Article is by Vladimir Komarov, and obviously he interviewed Adam at the New York gig.

Here it is for last night’s Toronto show, pardon the red lighting:
It’s no different from the previous night in NYC, probably because Mikey Jones is still getting familiar with the material. By the way he did really well behind the drum kit in Toronto. The Swervies are still freakin’ amazing live after all these years
Oh Brad, think I saw you front row centre, I was up in the balcony seats avoiding the moshpit thing.

Likewise I’ve noticed myself they’ve really been mixing it up with the set lists on their Aussie tour. Think between us all, the members here going to the NYC and TO shows over the next two nights are pretty well organized to help cover those two.
