This was more than a quarter of a century ago…but I remember thinking I was looking at the world through a bubble, a disconnected observer. Another time, around Christmas, I watched Chinese dragons fight on the ceiling for hours, they were actually reflections of Christmas tree lights. I was horrified by the sight of 2 large moray eels at an aquarium, but fascinated by Van Gogh paintings at the museum. As for music, Jefferson Airplane was a favorite, but really any music will sound completely different and mesmerizing.
These days, coffee is about as close to a hallucinogen as I will get.

Best example of Dinosaur, Jr influence on early Swervedriver, especially the vocals.I find this new CD to be an excellent soundtrack for driving around in wintry weather. Just went through and intense 2-day blizzard out here in western Kansas, and the music perfectly captured the mood.
